By Owen Beitsch, PhD, AICP, CRE Johnson City, TN Development Authority using RERC The Johnson City Development Authority says a feasibility study could result in major development along the downtown section of State of Franklin Road. Cosultants from Orlando, Florida-based Real Estate Research Consultants, are spending the week in Johnson City. The JCDA hired the company to come up with a plan to jump-start redevelopment near downtown. Real Estate Research Consultants has been retained by the Seminole County Board of Commissioners - in cooperation with the cities of Winter Springs, Sanford , and Oviedo -- to complete the second phase of the SeminoleWAY planning initiative. This phase of the project will outline implementation strategies for attracting hi-tech industries to the State Road 417 corridor.
