Orlando Fashion Square Mall

Client: Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT)

Real Estate Research Consultants (RERC) completed an analysis of proposed redevelopment and addition to the existing Fashion Square Mall in the City of Orlando. The existing mall opened in 1973 and since that time, the area has become a major concentration of retail development. The development program includes 1,042,000 square feet of existing mall space, 83,000 square feet of new retail/restaurant space, 434 for-lease apartment units, 72,000 square feet of office space, and converting the mall’s surface parking lots to structured parking decks. Bayshore/Gateway Triangle CRA

Client: Bayshore/Gateway Triangle Redevelopment Area

RERC was retained by the CRA to work in coordination with HDR to perform a market assessment of the CRA area as well as identify development opportunities in 2004. In 2006 RERC was retained again to update projections for tax increment revenues for the CRA, originally created in 2000. [more]

Bowling Green Housing Needs Assessment

Client: City of Bowling Green, Kentucky

Real Estate Research Consultants (RERC) was retained by the City of Bowling Green to conduct a city-wide Housing Market Analysis. The analysis is a required component of the City’s Consolidated Plan for the Community Development Block Grant program. The results of the analysis assisted housing policy decisions related to the investment of grant funding and the execution of programs and projects. [more]

City of Bradenton

Client: Bradenton Downtown Development Authority

RERC was retained by the City of Bradenton’s Downtown Development Authority (DDA), to evaluate and assist in the disposition and redevelopment of a key city-owned property in the Central Business District. RERC conducted a market assessment for the site and determined that the location was most appropriate for multi-family for-rent residential with some limited street level commercial uses. RERC also met with key stakeholders to define goals and criteria for the process, and developed the Request for Proposal (RFP) instruments necessary to define and frame the real estate opportunities for distribution to the private development community. SeminoleWay Economic Development Initiative

Client: Seminole County, Florida

Real Estate Research Consultants was retained in 2008 to lead a team of professionals to prepare a detailed evaluation to support a visionary economi development plan for Seminole County. The analysis focused on the Satet Road 417 Corridor and examined the potential for attracting high value/high wage jobs and businesses to the county. [more]
