RERC provides public clients assistance in developer solicitation to meet strategic community objectives. Specifically, the firm has prepared Requests for Qualifications (RFQ), Requests for Proposals (RFP), solicited developer interest, provided proposal evaluations and assisted with the negotiations and preparation of Developer Agreements.

Murdock Village
Client: Charlotte County, Fl

The firm provided market analysis to assist Charlotte County in redevelopment of 1,100 acres of underutilized property; prepared RFP for developers, assisted in evaluation of responses and preparing Developer's Agreement.

Lake Toho Development
Client: Kissimmee Community Redevelopment Agency, Fl

Assisted with update of CRA Redevelopment Plan, identifying infill development potential for 40 acre City-owned site on shores of Lake Tohopekaliga in downtown Kissimmee. Currently responsible for developer solicitation (RFQ and RFP preparation), evaluation and assisting with negotiating Developer's Agreement.

Naval Training Center/Baldwin Park
Client: City of Orlando, Fl

RERC provided services to assist the City on the base closure negotiations with the Department of the Navy for the 1,100 acre Naval Training Center. The work also included the determination of future development opportunities. Process undertaken consisted of identifying the best development teams and simultaneously negotiating with each to ensure highest quality project.

Now know as Baldwin Park, this traditional neighborhood development (TND), is well ahead of sales projections. Ultimate buildout value will approach $1 billion. The development recently received the prestigious ULI's 2004 Award for Excellence.
