RERC has provided numerous communities and agencies with strategic approaches to implementing development programs. This has included analysis of site specific infill developments, public financing options as well as creation of incentive policies customized to meeting specific community objectives.

 

 

Sistrunk Boulevard Redevelopment
Client: Ft Lauderdale Community Redevelopment Agency, Fl

As part of a planning/engineering team provided guidance to the reconfiguration of a three mile corridor, RERC provided site specific, market driven, project analysis along Sistrunk Boulevard. In addition the firm provided a mixed use development incentive policy complete with evaluation criteria, monitoring and application forms. Policy was adopted by CRA in October, 2003.

Neighborhood Investment Program
Client: Kissimmee Community Redevelopment Agency, Fl

RERC provided point systems for determining eligibility for tax increment incentives for residential development in specific neighborhoods. Criteria was adopted by CRA March, 2005. A commercial incentive policy is now being prepared.
